Pontiac is gettin some great publicity out of this promotion, it was a great idea

The Queen of Talk gave brand new cars to each of the 276 people in her studio audience. Oprah said, We’re calling this our wildest dream season, because this year on the “Oprah” show, no dream is too wild, no surprise too impossible to pull off!”

The cars, the Pontiac G6, are valued at $28,000!

Hundreds of people who were given free cars by Oprah Winfrey are now complaining about sticker shock, after finding out they’re responsible for the near $8,000 taxes on the car!

I think paying $8000 for a new car is a great deal--especially the kind Oprah gave away. However, I'm sure some won't be able to afford it.

Perhaps somebody could get their car sold on EBay if they wanted. That would be cool!

Any time you win something big like that, you have to pay taxes. That's not Oprah's fault, that's uncle sam at work...
