I hate people who complain for the sake of complaining.

People who abbreviate whole words into letters. Sorry if that's you, but that's my pet peeve. Like using "r" for "are" and "u" for "you".. or "ur" for "your"...

Now, lately, people are using "y" for "you" AND "why"... among others... sickens me... I was tolerating it when the word and the letter sounded the same.. but when they abbreviate the first letter of the word (frequently several words in a sentence) cuz they're just lazy?? Grrrrr!

I hate people that set off fireworks before or after the 4th of July. You got one day people, use 'em all up then. The damn things going off all the time in the weeks before the holiday drive my dog crazy. She won't even go outside if she hears them.

Also, I hate anyone that manufactures, sells or buys the M80 or M100 type fireworks. One loud bang is all you get from them and the retards think they're the greatest things in the world. A 14 year old girl around here was babysitting for a family and the power went out in their house. The kid was scared and asked the sitter to light a candle. She looked in a drawer, found what she thought was a candle and lit it. It exploded in her hand, taking two fingers and her thumb off. It was an M80, kept where any kid could find it. Now she gets to spend the summer learning to write with her other hand.

*edit - It wasn't an M80, it was an M1000! As powerful as a quarter of a stick of dynamite. Half of it got blown through the ceiling and into the attic, the other half was actually lodged in her chest. She was in shock and didn't even know about it until they were cleaning up her hand. The family that she was babysitting for was her own cousins.

At least she was brave enough to go on tv and do interviews to discourage people from keeping that kind of stuff in the house where kids can find it. Hopefully her doing that can prevent another accident.

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled (and far more humorous before I mucked it up) thread.

Agree! Idiot kids next door were setting "the bombs" off last night after midnight. My dogs wouldn't stop barking. Well one of my dogs, the other one was hiding in the bathroom shaking.

I know I know. I've told my dad on numerous occasions to tone it down. He just won't listen

Kids who think it's cool to wear pants down to their ankels, wear huge skater shoes, wear their hats all funky, and act like a gangsta when they live with there rich parents in a nice neighborhood. Why don't you turn up that music a little louder, I don't think Mars heard it. Why do girls like that crap!?!

Girls who wear really skimpy clothing and yell at guys for staring at them.

People who assume I'm telling them they're bad parents, simply because I explain (to someone else in the room) why *I* am doing what *I* am doing with my son. Conversely: People who DO tell me I'm doing it wrong, because they've had 3 kids and therefore MUST know all there is to know about being a parent to any child..
