Several reports are suggesting that Casino Royale director Martin Campbell is in London this week, to attend final auditions to select the next James Bond.

The Telegraph reported that the pool of candidates has been reduced to four; Moviehole suggests the last men standing could be Ioan Gruffudd (who recently proclaimed himself "10 years too young" for the part), Julian McMahon, Daniel Craig and Alex O'Lachlan.

i'm so sick of this game, i could scream. and if they don't go with mcmahon, i am SOOOOOOOOO outta here (in terms of attending another bond film). for any one who hasn't seen nip/tuck? check it out. the man IS bond. great actor (nominated for a golden globe), SINfully handsome, and exhudes sex out of every pore in his body.

the "bond people" have been stringing EVERYBODY along with this for so long - NOW they're saying (according to MI6) that mcmahon's out of the running and the ER guy (goran - can't remember last name), alex o'lachlan, and two other complete unknowns are in the running. are these people on drugs? what is the MATTER with these people?
