Clive Owen next. He's played enough roles beforehand, he's ready for this and once he's done with his 007 run, he can go right back to playing roles that suit him, or even in between Bond films. He needs to be Bond. He looks like Bond, he has his cooly detached demeanor, and like the BMW films, where he played the driver, it shows he's comfortable behind that vehicle of choice.

Colin Farrel isn't British. As cute as he is, he just can't cut it as Bond. Ewan is good but he's a bit too young. 007 is a more mature guy. I really think it should be Rupert Everett... he is perfect if everyone could just get past the fact that he is gay in real life. He is a phenomenal actor and he is sauve, sophisticated, handsome and British. For those who are homophobic... well, they can just giggle and call him "Jane Bond" behind his back. :P

I've heard that Gerard Butler actually want's to play James Bond. I think he'd be a good choice. All we ever hear about is guys not wanting to be Bond, so his enthusiasm was refreshing to hear.

I'd LOVE to see Highlander's Adrian Paul as the next 007.

I know he was in consideration when the part went to Pierce Brosnan, and that he wants to play Bond.

Hopefully the fact the Highlander Worldwide Website has a page up about Adrian Paul as Bond means that he is in serious consideration this round! : )

James Bond producers have refused to comment on reports that British actor Daniel Craig will be the next 007.

The Sun newspaper said the Road to Perdition and Layer Cake star had been asked to take over from Pierce Brosnan in the next three films.
