I saw The Legend of Zorro last week. I don't really remember the first but this one had a lot of humor. It was ok. I give it a B-.

Last night I saw Prime. It was a pretty good movie about relationships. I'd give it a solid B because it could have been a little shorter. I just came back from watching Chicken Little. Not as funny as I'd thought it'd be but I just love that Chicken Little has a huge head and tiny body. Unfortunately I got to give that one a C+. It was a really long hour and 21 minutes.

I saw two movies last week...

The Ice Harvest: a little long and predictable. A quirky sort of film. Hated Connie Nielsen's breathy American voice; sounds like Jessica Rabbit. I'd give it a C+.

Pride & Prejudice: OK, I'm one of those rare people who doesn't know too much about this story/novel before seeing this movie. (But I hear Colin Firth looked hot in a wet shirt in the BBC miniseries so I'll have to rent that. LOL) But this Mr. Darcy (Matthew MacFadyen) was pretty hot too, Keira Knightley was alright, but the movie was too long, esp. if you knew they were going to end up together in the end. And I didn't have to watch a previous version or read the book to know that much. I'd give it a B.

I saw "Walk the Line" this weekend, pretty good. A -, just for the fact that Joaquin and Reese both learned to sing and play instruments for the film. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

I saw "Walk the Line" on Thanksgiving and think it deserves an A- as well. I'd give it an A+ except for the two or three scenes that could've been left on the editing room floor. Otherwise, the acting and singing are incredible. The chemistry between Reese and Joaquin alone makes the movie worth the $9 ticket price.

I saw Rent last night and it was really good. I wish I could have seen the Broadway show. I LOVED the first trailer but hearing that opening number in the theater was just astounding. Think I'll buy the soundtrack now. I'd give it a A-. (Coulda been a little shorter maybe...? Had no idea it was 2 hrs, 15 min.)

Over the weekend, I saw Munich. I thought it was a very good movie. I didn't know much about the events during the '72 Olympics so this was a nice introduction, however accurate. I'd give the movie a B+. Didn't realize it was so long (2h, 45m... 3h with trailers) but the time just flew by because the storyline was so interesting.

Saw "Narnia" over the weekend...I'd give it a B+...was it just me or was that not the story of Christ with the Lion being "resurected"

Saw Syriana last weekend. I'd give it a solid B. I'm not big on politics but it wasn't as confusing as I'd thought it'd be.
