Meet the Fockers was the last movie I saw...in fact, I just saw it last last Sunday. It was an okay film...too many sex jokes though IMO. Still, I prefer this over Ocean's 12...it was too slow.

I went to see "Ocean's 12" earlier today. It's right up there with "Spider-Man 2" and "The Bourne Supremacy" as one of the top sequels of 2004, to me at least. Instead of being confined to basically one building, in one city like the first movie was, this one is spread out over multiple cities and countries. Everyone from the first movie is back to play their roles again, and they've added Catherine Zeta Jones as a detective who specializes in elaborate thefts. Plus, she has a personal intrest in nabbing "Ocean's 11". There are more laughs in this movie than the first one, more than in most comedies (at least to me). We get a couple surprise cameos in addition to the headliners too. I didn't notice any little quirks like in the first movie though, when Brad Pitt was eating something in every scene he was in, though he did snack a bit in this one. It was exactly the movie I wanted to see, breezy, some surprises unfolding and an A list cast having fun. 10/10.

Team america world police - some funny bits, but not really my "cup of tea". Some of the jokes are funny, and some in my opinion are in bad taste.

Assault on Precient 13

Saw it last week... I enjoyed it.

Keeps you interested, on the edge. Lot's of twists, makes you wonder what's going to happen next. Refreshing to see a good olde action pic

I've seen a few films in the past few weeks:

1) Meet The Fockers: Good Comedy, much better than the original.

2) House Of Flying Daggers: Was all right but not as good as Hero.

3) The Aviator: A friggin' masterpiece, Scorsese's best since Goodfellas. It will sweep the Oscars.

4) Bride & Prejudice: Good movie, not as corny as I thought it would be but a little. Was very loyal to the literature it was based on.

Ive seen a couple recently

1)Constantine - A different depiction of a comic book to film adaptation that works well in most scenes
2)Bride and Prejudice - A fun, colourful film that will please some, im not a fan of musicals though
3)Flight of the Phoenix - A good film, does have its flaws however

The last DVD I watched was "The Punisher". I just like that movie. I wish it could have been more like the comic, grittier and in a darker city. Tampa was an odd setting. But it worked. Thomas Jane looks like a comic book character (he should have been Daredevil). I just liked all the scenes. His fight with the Russian was great simply because it was so damn funny. They could have just made this movie as a title of it's own and not called it "The Punisher" or named Jane "Frank Castle" and it might have gone over better. I think the die hard Punisher fans were probably expecting a darker movie. But I do have to say, that scene where every damn member of Frank's family gets killed is probably the most violent scene in any movie. While not a lot was shown, just the idea of it is horrible.

9/10
