I went to see "The Transporter 2" today. I enjoyed it. I'll admit that you have to buy into it to like it, but really no more so than a James Bond movie. They're both filled with over the top stunts, but Jason Statham is more believable in his fight scenes and his character doesn't have 40 years of history to live up to. No new info is given on him in this movie, he's just an ex-special forces soldier that is a driver now. We don't really need any more info than that either. You just sit back and watch. Of the two Transporter movies, I prefer the first one I think, but I'll need to see this one again a few times on DVD to be sure.
8/10

I watched "Wrong Turn" last night. As far as dialogue goes, there really wasn't much said. And as far as plot, there's not much to that either. Some people end up on the wrong dirt road in West Virginia and end being hunted by some inbred hillbillies. But it was a fun chase to watch. Nobody is really afraid of Freddy Krueger or Jason, but if you were to ever walk in the woods of West Virginia, this movie would definately be in the back of your mind. Some of the death scenes were pretty good, but the most tense by far was when they saw one of their friends being butchered while they were hiding in the killers shack.
Not a great horror movie, but more fun than most recent ones that get overly technical and too bogged down in plot.

I went to see "A History of Violence" today. It was really good. A solid, tense, action/thriller. The best thing about it was all the footage that's been shown in the trailers all came from the first half hour of the movie. So everything after that was a total surprise. It's a slow paced movie, but when something happens, it grabs you. 9/10

I saw a commercial for that on Spike. Was it any good? On the Van Damme scale, where would it rate?
"Universal Soldier" being a 10
"Legionaire" being a 1
