I loved 11, 12 more so because of the music, although I have seen it like 10 times in the last month. I think all characters should stay, except the one with the mustache (he was one of the brothers and was getting married in 12). I think Catherine Zeta-Jones could be left out, as well as Tess(maybe because I just don't care for Julia Roberts). The Night Fox has to be brought to light. He had his share in 12, but after seeing the "blue laser dance", I had to see more(the music did it for me). It's possible he could do something to Benedict, although his character is pretty much done now, I mean, what more could happen? Another casino heist? He did love art as well as the Night Fox. Maybe NF and O12 could come together and pull off the biggest robbery of the century, bigger than LaMoche(lamark?) in O12. Either way, whatever the plot, this will be good to see.

For those into video games, an Ocean's game series would be nice too. You know, if there is a 13, maybe they could do it in Japan. Though this could take away from the whole 60-70's retro feel.

I find it funny that some people that disliked Ocean's 12 do not even understand the true plot. Who actually understands that the egg was stolen WELL before Daniel even met the NightFox for the 'deal' and still dislikes the movie? (The 12th person is LeMarke.. duh...)

I think the story was beautifully written and as for a story for Ocean's 13? Both movies so far have revolved around a love theme so I have no clue who would be next. I'm sure there were some sequel tie ends in the last movie. (ex: How did the NightFox know the combination to the safe Daniel had the paintings in)

You want to know one great actor who would make Ocean's 13 awesome. He has been in many heist movies before and plays a great criminal/thief.........EDWARD NORTON. As for a bad guy, the ultimate would be Dennis Hoper or Christopher Walken.

Now the Night Fox knowing the combination did throw me. I wondered how he knew the combination myself. I guess it does make sense about the egg already being stolen since CZJ did say LeMoche stole the egg and his wife made him put it back and so forth. 13 has a lot of possibilites. Ed Norton is a good actor, but I don't think he's fit for Ocean's. I hope they don't decide to team the Night Fox up with Ocean's. Wouldn't work at all.

personally i think that they should do ocean's 10 and base it on the meeting that danny and rusty had with reuben. reuben says i will never forget what you guys did with the thing, and the guy, in the place - or something along those lines. anyways the movie could take place in belize and have to do with stealing incan matrimonial headmasks. the are a lot of possibilities but i think it should end with danny getting pinched which would lead right into ocean's 11.

Markus, You bring up excellent points. It would be interesting to see how they would intiate the group together. Like you said, in Oceans 11, the group already has a sort of chemistry shown by comments you discussed and also when Basher says "It will be nice to work with proper villans again". This would lead into 11 brilliantly. The only reason I see that not working out is that they would have to cut out a member of the cast. Who would that be...I believe it would be Matt Damon. In Ocean's 11, Danny and Rusty had to make new ties with him, indicating that they had never worked together before. Matt Damon is a big name to cut out of this movie, so i don't know...To me each character plays a crucial part to the success of the films. (Although Bernie Mac is my least favorite). Tell me what you think!

I like that idea too going back and doing the lincoln matramonial headmask heist idea... however, too many pieces won't fit together in terms of cast, who was in on it, etc. The only one's we can be sure about is Rusty and Danny, with Tess too. That being said, could open the door for new cast members, but would leave out Yen, Linus, possibly Basher, possibly the twins, but Sol might be a good one in there if he's up for another movie. Either way, whatever they decide to do, it will be good.

Maybe they get a contract hire for this one? I just hope nobody gets held hostage like Julia Roberts or Catherine Zeta Jones... people being held ransom is overplayed

It'll be interesting to see if this second sequel really happens, whether or not Catherine Zeta-Jones will still be involved in light of Michael Douglas' (her husband) recent nasty remarks about Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts in his GQ interview... I wonder what Douglas thinks he's going to gain by making such tacky comments? Amazing....

The truth is: Oceans13 will not get into cinema, but they will make Oceans 14 for summer 2006.!!!°

I heard Elliot Gould on the radio today and he said filmiing for ocean's 13 starts july 2006..and everyone from the original cast is signed on to do it. That's all the detail he gave.

Movie one was done very well, and i think we all agree. many, however, failed to see the european caper untertones lying within the movie. hardly anyone seemed to realize that much of the music was taken from lower-budgeted euro movies that were probably good enough to be well known, but didn't have the funds to back it. One of the most famous was La Legge Dei Gangsters. Not exactly ocean's eleven in europe, but it evoked the same feel. Crepusculo Sul Mare (Piero Umiliani) was taken from that movie and thus gave O12 a low budget, yet tasteful feel. It's not that O12 was poorly made, it could have been maybe that some of the anticipation was gone, flaws in Linus' character came out, but mainly PEOPLE DIDN"T UNDERSTAND IT. A smart movie made too smart for some. O13 doesn't feature Zeta or Roberts, merely because the script didn't allow thier characters really to have a spot. More character development? Yes. In some wierd way, this next one will thrive and possibly provide more entertaining insight into some form of a caper. For those of you still left with a bad taste in your ocean's 12 mouths, I suggest ordering some old european gangster flicks (1960-early 70's). You'll like them, and then once educated, maybe you'll like O12 too.

i forgot. O13 Summer 07. NO Zeta, NO Roberts. YES everyone else.

In case any of you haven't heard, Al Pacino will be playing the part of high end casino owner willie banks. It looks as if this one will mirror the look of the first one in that it will be shot in Los Angeles and definitely LV. Hopefully Pacino gives sincere depth (and not some cooky-ness) to the cast, and it all falls together in Las Vegas somehow.
