Your favorite extra features
What kind of extra features do you like on your DVD's?
My favorites:
*Theatrical Trailer (this is a MUST)
*Gag reel
*Commentary by the director and star
*Deleted scenes
That's really all I need. Anything else is almost a waste to me, because I'll probably never watch it.

The one thing that every DVD should be required to have, is all of the trailers for the movie. That includes the teaser, the full theatrical trailer and and the tv trailers. Some DVD's have trailers for other movies, but not their own trailer. That is just about the dumbest thing possible. Others, like the "Spider-Man" DVD have every tv trailer, but not the original theatrical teaser (the one that had the twin towers in it). "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" had some of the best trailers I've ever seen, but they only have their main one on the DVD.
Other than the trailer, I like to see a gag reel, deleted scenes and a commentary from the director or stars. I've never watched any of the documentaries on any of my DVD's. They always seem boring or pretentious. I don't like the concept of "Easter Eggs" either. If you're gonna put something on a DVD, put it in plain sight, don't make me hunt for it.

I always like to see deleted scenes and documentaries. I'm not too big on commentary though.

First and foremost, the DVD has to have a movie I enjoyed or think I will enjoy, That said:
Deleted scenes, bloopers, if it's a special effects type of movie it has to have 'making of' or documantaries, feature length commentary, and if possible alternate endings or versions of the movie.

I have to admit, I've never watched more than 5 minutes of a film with commentary. I have no particular interest for trailers either.
Bloopers/Gag reel are important. Love'em.
Deleted Scenes. Preferably with the option to have them interlaced with the film.
"Making of" and similar documentaries.

Extra
|
Personally I prefer no extras at all, I just want the movie.
Since the movieindustry claims that its the extras that is the reason for DVDs being more expensive than VHS I rather get a cheaper one without any extras at all

I like deleted scenes but I have so many DVDs I rarely even get around to that. Special features are nice but as far as I'm concerned not even needed.
