The distributor of "CHiPs" was NBC, which is now owned by Universal and Universal's making a big push of many TV shows this year, including "Leave It to Beaver", "Kojak" and "Murder, She Wrote", so even if it's not this year, it may be next year, or maybe even before the end of this year.
With the Nicole Kidman/Will Ferrell movie coming out this year, Sony (who has the rights to the show and is also releasing the film), will probably release the first season in time for the theatrical release.

I'd like to have the complete seasons of "Justice League" and "Justice League Unlimited" on DVD. Not just the individual episodes like they have now.
