I wasn't thrilled with Kristianna Loken in T3, pretty, but kind of dry and listless, which fit that character well, but ultimately provided no life to the robot... don't slam me for that, her robot in T3 seemed too two-demensional to me. And Mila Jovovovich was cool as Alice, but I felt she was cast wrong. Wonder Woman needs to be pretty and exotic looking, also voluptuous and physically strong. Jennifer Connelly could do it, she's got the talent, and looks. And yes, I'm aware that makeup can make virtually any actor look right, but Mrs. Connelly doesn't need much to look the part!

There's some actress on that show "The Mountain" that would be perfect. That show is really lousy, but as soon as I saw her I thought she looked just like Wonder Woman....I'm just too lazy to look up her name.

Barton a WW Contender?
From MovieHole.net:
Quote:
|
According to a report in today's Herald Sun, Brandon Davis's hot-water bottle, Mischa Barton, is another on Warner's "Wonder Woman" wish-list. The hot little thespian - who, well, admit it, could be a snug fit for that "Wonder" Bra - is carving out a bit of a film career for herself, thanks to her popular stint on FOX's "The OC".

Jessica Alba - can't act
Kirsten Dunst - not a chance
Jennifer Garner - not convincing
Sarah Michelle Gellar - has been
Katie Holmes - not tough enough
Scarlett Johansson - hmm, maybe
Keira Knightley - nope
Evangeline Lilly -maybe
Eva Mendes - she's what 5 foot 1?
I think Demi Moore should be the front-runner though.

Wonder Woman??? duh!
Ok I was just waltzing thru as I tend to do, and I couldn't help but to look @ the options posted for actresses to play Princess Diana ( the one who could live thru a car crash!), and yea some of these chicks are really cute.
Katie, Sarah cute but short.
Andie McD, striking but too old.
Demi can't act.
Same for Kirsten Dunst (Mary Jane...
Jennifer Garner (Elektra...blech!)
Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, hotties!!! but not close
Keira Knightley perfect wonder girl
Evangeline Lilly who???
Eva Mendes please.
Wonder Woman is an AMAZON princess people!
@ 6'3" supermodel / pro volleyball player Gabrielle Reece is not only stunningly beautiful but is athletically fit enough to kick almost anybodys ass!
just my opinion,
j!
is it true that Tom Welling of Smallville will be playing Goku in the upcoming Dragonball Z movie???

I'm still going with Demi. She kicked ass in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle". Just the kind of stuff Joss Whedon will no doubt be looking for.
For a second choice, I'd go with Angie Harmon.
And Gabrielle Reece can't act either, I saw her on some sitcom recently.

I don't really see anyone who's out there in the media now who could play Wonder Woman and not be a flop/joke. Wonder Woman should be an unknown. Ultimately, I think Wonder Woman must be played by a WOMAN and not by some skinny waif and not by some sex-pot either. Wonder Woman has a healthy shape with muscles. Lucy Lawless in her hey-day before she got famous as Xena is a good example. She was sexy yet strong and fierce and she came across as a true genuine hero who would kick your ass. And she is a big woman who takes up space in a feminine way, not in a freaky artificial way like Chyna or someone with giant super-boobs like Pamela Anderson. I wish Demi Moore wasn't so anorexic thin looking because she does radiate strength.
Jennifer Garner is a wonderful force of nature who kicks ass and is strong but she still looks like a teenage girl to me.
Several of the females mentioned to play this part ( Sarah Michelle Gellar, Katie Holmes/Jennifer Connelly) lack STATURE/PRESENCE, and Wonder Woman has these qualities in spades. Don't get me wrong. I love Buffy and Jennifer Connelly. The various roles they've played have been excellent. But I don't see them filling Wonder Woman's formidable high heel boots. Kelly Hu is cool, I like her but I don't want a revisionist Wonder Woman. If you really want to go super stunt casting, ANGELA BASSET with the super tight body, regal grace, and authoritative voice IS the perfect candidate for Wonder Woman. But I just can't see it. Wonder Woman is neither African nor Asian.
The more I think about it, they need to leave Wonder Woman alone. I dread even the mention and sight of these new Batman and Superman movies. I don't plan to see them. I prefer to leave my superheroes on the pedestals where they belong. Wonder Woman is one of the few old school female comic book heroes who has survived the test of time. I just want her to be treated with the respect she deserves.

WOW!
Nevermore,
I never thought anyone could suggest a woman that I would appreciate but you did it! Catherine Zeta Jones is strong and sexy, regal and statuesque, with the classic Wonder Woman "look", she can act and with Chicago, she showed everyone that she can throw herself into a non-conventional part (even while pregnant). I even think her slight "accent" is a plus because it would give Wonder Woman an otherworldly quality. Thanks for thinking of her. Now if only the Hollywood casting big wigs would be so thoughtful and intelligent...
PEACE
