The last DVD I watched was "Man On Fire". This is pretty much the only Denzel Washington movie that I like. He always seems to get too preachy in his other films. But in this one, he was perfect. This is exactly the type of roll that Vin Diesel should go for. He could have been great in this movie too, it's in the same vein as his "A Man Apart". Christopher Walken was fun to watch mainly because he was just playing a normal guy, not the weird freak villain that he gets cast as way too often. Mickey Rourke was cool as a sleazy attorney. I could even stand Marc Anthony, though he looks like a sick version of Jimmy Smits, and Jimmy Smits looks sick anyway. The movie had some great quotes though. This was one of my favorite:

Lisa: What are you gonna do?
Creasy: What I do best. I'm gonna kill 'em. Anyone that was involved. Anybody who profited from it. Anybody who opens their eyes at me.

And Walken had a great one with this:

Rayburn: A man can be an artist... in anything, food, whatever. It depends on how good he is at it. Creasey's art is death. He's about to paint his masterpiece.

Tony Scott did a great job with the film. I can't think of a director who could have done better. He's highly underrated. So many directors just capture the basic stuff on film (like Rob Cohen), Scott makes you watch every inch of the screen though.

9/10. A great dramatic-action movie.
